Duran Duran Announce to Headline at BST Hyde Park 2021

The new wave icon Duran Duran is gearing up to premiere at the BST Hyde Park show in July 2021 after the event was initially canceled for this summer which will now take place in next summer of 2021. The band Duran Duran was all set play at the 2020 edition of the event at Hyde Park, London. They were to keep everything on hold as the coronavirus pandemic tore through the festival season forcing to cancel the event for 2020.

American Express has now announced the dates for BST Hyde Park in the summer of 2021. Duran Duran has also confirmed to be the second headliner of the BST Hyde Park event after Pearl Jam. The band will open the London concert series on Sunday 11th July 2021 which will their first ever appearance at BST Hyde Park and first London Gig in six years. They will be joined by Nile Rogers, Chic and Grace Jones in the UK capital at the American express presents BST Hyde Park event.

BST Hyde Park is organized by American Express. They started the London concert series back in 2013 with a mission to bring a weekend to weekend 10 day event like no other. The program has six incredible concert days now along with food, drinks and hospitality packages. Legendary bands and rising stars perform at the event each summer. Open House, a program at the event, is full of fantastic activities and entertainment. In this summer the event could not occur due to covid-19 situation. But it will come back again in the summer of 2021 with same fervor and festivity it used to come back to the fans and Londoners.

The BST Hyde Park event lineups have been announced for the concerts. Pearl Jam is the first headliner of the show. The rock band Duran Duran will be the second to headline shows at the UK’s capital Hyde Park, London Show. The band will play their gigs in July 11 & 12, 2021. 

Duran Duran will be supported by Nile Rogers and Grace Jones at the BST Hyde Park 2021 event. For the London concert series the band is ready with Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, John Taylor and Roger Taylor in their lineup. In addition to this they will have Nile Rogers and Grace Jones with them for added support. The band has many hit singles both on the UK and US Billboard chart. The band did not have appearance this year due to coronavirus. 

About being the headliner at the American Express Presents BST Hyde Park 2021 event the bassist John Taylor said: ‘It is unbelievable for us that forty years later we are celebrating anniversary with a show at BST Hyde Park.’ The day will be a memorable day for us and the fans who poured love and endless support for many years now.

How to get tickets for Duran Duran at BST Hyde Park 2021

The complete lineups for the BST Hyde Park show is yet to announce. Only two headliners have been announced so far for the London concert series.  Pearl Jam and Duran Duran are among the confirmed headliners at the American Express present BST Hyde Park 2021. Since the program was to happen in the summer of 2020 and Duran Duran was one of the lineups there as well, the previous tickets holder will have an opportunity to purchase the tickets again before the 48 hours of general sale which will begin on 4 December 2020.
