Year after year the dead and company has gradually become one of the most renowned touring bands. Since its start, the band has performed on six tours and established itself as a record-breaking stadium act when it beat Wrigley Field’s record attendance, which it still maintains today. Having travelled continuously since its debut in 2015.
Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, and John Mayer are pleased to announce its 2022 tour, including two different stands at Citi Field, a New York Yankees residence, on July 15th and 16th. The Live Nation-produced 2022 Summer Tour offers two nights in the Bay Area at Shoreline Arena (June 13th & 14th), two nights at UC Boulder’s Field (June 17th & 18th), and two nights at Chicago’s legendary Wrigley Field.
Tickets will be available to the overall population starting Friday, April 8 at 10 a.m. nearby scene time and will be accessible until sold out.
The Outspread Concerns
After a disheartening beginning to 2022 for Dead and Company that highlighted the abrogation of their yearly Playing In The Sand because of COVID, many were contemplating whether we would see the band declare summer event dates. There was some hypothesis that the band was done, yet gossipy tidbits about a mid-year visit had been flowing for a couple of weeks.
The Exciting Beginning & Journey
Dead and Company thus dispatches the 20-date journey at Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium on June 11. The sextet then gets back to the Bay Area for a two-night stand at Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, California, on June 13 and 14. An additional two-night stand continues in Boulder, Colorado, on June 17 and 18.
The visit goes on at Bethel Woods in Bethel, New York, on July 1. From that point, the band will make stops in Foxborough, Massachusetts on July 2nd ; Hartford and Saratoga Springs, New York by July 5th and 6th respectively. Bristow, Virginia (July 8); Philadelphia (July 10) and Burgettstown, Pennsylvania (July 12). Thus, the Dead and Company will finish its amazing trip with a two-night stand at Citi Field in New York City on July 15 and 16.
The band had a couple of Playing In The Sand objective occasions in Mexico this previous January that were dropped because of COVID-19. While Kreutzmann missed various shows the previous fall because of a heart condition, he’s supposed to perform with Dead and Company this late spring.
Fans would wait and like to improve their Dead & Company performance experience with VIP venue access, pre-show lounges hospitality, and unique merchandise, as well as package deals for multi-night dates in Shoreline, New York, Denver, or Chicago,
