KORN has scheduled a summer tour with EVANESCENCE, which will be presented by Live Nation. The 18-city tour, which will be supported by special guests on select dates, will start off on August 16 at Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado, and will stop in Boston, Chicago, Houston, and other cities all over the United States before concluding on September 16 in Ridgefield, Washington.

“We’re looking forward to going on tour this summer and bringing our friends EVANESCENCE, out,” said Jonathan Davis of KORN. “Whenever Amy [Lee, EVANESCENCE singer] comes to one of our shows, I always love seeing her on the side of the stage watching the whole set and rocking out. We’re gonna have a great time on this tour, and we can’t wait to see you there.” Buy Tickets From Here

Lee continued, “I fell hard into KORN‘s music in high school. It was an inspiration during the formation of my own band. The chances we’ve had to play together over the years are special, a part of our history. They remain one of the best live bands I’ve ever seen. It’s an honor and a thrill to go out with our friends again, our first full tour together since ’07. We’re all really looking forward to this.”

With the launch of its self-titled debut album, KORN shocked the world. It was an album that defined a genre, and the band’s long-term popularity reflects a greater societal shift. According to The Fader: “There was an unexpected opening in the pop landscape and KORN articulated a generational coming-of-angst for a claustrophobic, self-surveilled consciousness. KORN became the soundtrack for a generation’s arrival as a snarling, thrashing, systemically-restrained freak show.”Since its inception, KORN has marketed 40 million albums globally, won two Grammy Awards, toured the globe numerous times, and set numerous records that will almost certainly never be exceeded.KORN has remained a tower of inspiration for millions of fans and decades of artists throughout the world, pushing the boundaries of rock, experimental, and metal music. KORN’s appeal extends beyond awards and platinum certifications. The Ringer says They are “a genuine movement in a way bands cannot be now,” They symbolize a new archetype and radical excellence, and their capacity to cross genre boundaries renders genre borders obsolete.

With their hectic travel schedule paused owing to the COVID-19 epidemic, the band discovered themselves inspired by a fresh inventive method free of time limitations on their most recent CD, “Requiem.” This allowed them to accomplish things with “Requiem” that they hadn’t been able to do in the previous two decades, such as taking more time to explore together or meticulously recording to analog tape — practices that gave their music new sound complexity and character. Fans and critics alike lauded the album, which also had its first song, “Start The Healing,” hit No. 1 on the Modern Rock Radio list. Buy Tickets From Here

EVANESCENCE, the two-time Grammy Award winner, has had a worldwide influence. The group’s groundbreaking debut album, “Fallen,” was released in 2003 and spent 43 weeks in the Billboard Top 10 while selling over 17 million copies worldwide. “Bring Me To Life,” their debut single and a global hit, peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and became their first No. 1 hit single in the United Kingdom. In both the United States and the United Kingdom, “My Immortal” reached No. 7.
