Wizkid, a pioneer in the genre of Afrobeats, has announced a spring 2023 tour of North America to promote his next album, More Love, Less Ego. Starting on March 3 in Houston, the tour will make stops in 20 different cities around the United States, including major metropolitan areas like New York City, Miami, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Detroit, Chicago, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. The upcoming Canadian gigs will be held in Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver. The new tour comes after the Made in Lagos Tour, which ran from 2021 to early 2022.

Wizkid’s fifth studio album, “More Love, Less Ego,” was released by Starboy Entertainment and RCA Records on November 11, 2022. His previous album, titled “Made in Lagos,” is set to be released in 2020. The RIAA has given it a Gold rating, and Burna Boy, Skepta, Damian Marley, H.E.R., and Ella Mai sing on it.
