During their Las Vegas concert series, BTS reveals the launch date of their next studio album

ARMY, get ready! BTS will release new songs in the near future.

The global superstars announced on April 17 that their new album, We Are Bulletproof, will be released on June 10. It will be the first time the group—which includes members RM, Jin, Suga, J-hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—has released new music in 11 months, following the July 9 release of their smooth songs “Butter” and “Permission To Dance.”

“Hello. This is BIGHIT MUSIC. BTS will be back with another new album on June 10, 2022,” the band’s management shared in a statement on the fan community platform WeVerse. “Details on the new album will be provided in a separate notice at a later date. We look forward to your love and support for BTS’ new album. Thank you.”

The new album was announced mere hours after a mystery teaser video was shown at the group’s Permission To Dance on Stage concert series’ last night in Las Vegas on April 16.

Despite the fact that fans were not kept in the dark for long, speculation regarding the album and its significance has dominated the Internet, especially because it will be released just three days before BTS’ ninth anniversary on June 13. BTS organizes a Festa every year to commemorate their anniversary with their fans.

The title of the next album is a term that has been used frequently by BTS during their career.

Bangtan Sonyeondan (방탄소년단), which loosely translates to “Bulletproof Boy Scouts,” released the single “We Are Bulletproof Pt. 2” in 2013. On their album Map of the Soul: 7, they released a follow-up hymn in 2020 called “We Are Bulletproof: The Eternal.”
