The tense atmosphere was already growing among the band members, to which their status as a band reached a point of breaking up. The band started a new work, “get back” to ease the tensions, but the band was not in perfect shape then. The disney+ documentary directed by Peter Jackson was recently released on the 25th of November 2021, disclosing everything that happened between the four at that time. It can be seen in the documentary that paul maccartney kept finding fault with George Harrison‘s renovation with the song titled “get back”, & Harrison does not seem to appreciate this criticism.
At the end of the first episode, George Harrison gave up the band after having enough flashbacks saying, “I am leaving the band now”. After leaving the band, Harrison managed to enjoy his work without his band. In contrast, the humiliating behaviour of McCartney & the hostile attitude of Lennon led the band to its fall. After which arrangements were made to talk with George Harrison to join the band again & with this the Beatles performed together for the last time on the apple’s headquarters rooftop in 1969 on 30th of January.
As disclosed by the remaining three members of the band, George would sometimes say “see you around the clubs” to his former band members after the breaking up of the band.
The documentary has been kept private since its production in January 1969. After the recent release, it created a sensation among the band’s fans who are eager to know what happened at the time of breaking up of the band & the real reason behind it.
