BTS, an acronym for Bangtan Boys, is a boy band from South Korea. They are famous for their catchy songs with meaningful lyrics and the members’ personalities. BTS has been on the American music scene since 2013 when they released “No More Dream.” The group’s popularity in America started to rise in 2016 after they began releasing more singles that were translated into English.

BTS recently made headlines when Spotify announced that it was adding 25 of its songs to its playlist which also includes Eminem, Taylor Swift, and Ed Sheeran. It is no surprise how all these artists have become popular with Americans over time because each one of them has managed to express themselves through songwriting or performing while making sure not to lose touch with what connects.

The new boy band sensation from South Korea is dominating American music charts. BTS has been called “the biggest boyband ever” for their catchy tunes, fun videos, and diverse fan base which ranges in age from six years old all the way to sixty-something years olds.

The Beatles are one of the most iconic bands in music history and you can find their influence on many artists today. However, there have been some people who think that The Beatles’ sound was pedestrian because they were just trying too hard to be “rebellious”.

BTS fans know this isn’t true-to-life; rather than copying cutting what another band does musically (even if it is successful), Bighit Entertainment preferred finding where American popular culture intersects with Korean pop culture via those groups like EXO or Big Bang which means combining old school vibes with a new twist giving them something fresh while still keeping classic elements intact.

K-pop is growing in popularity and everybody wants to listen. With this, the market for BTS music continues to grow as well! According to Billboard their album “Love Yourself: Tear” which includes songs sung solely by them was able to become “the first primarily foreign-language no 1 album released within 12 years.”

BTS has made a name for itself in the world of K-pop music because they are willing to cover subjects that other artists might avoid. From talking about bullying and mental health, BTS proves their ability not only as entertainers with relatable lyrics but also humble individuals who inspire others through their struggles.

They were nominated for Top Social Artist and their fans have been voting relentlessly to support them! The winner will be announced on May 21st at the awards ceremony in Las Vegas.

“We are so grateful,” said Suga, one of seven members in BTS who rap or sing. “And we would like to thank all our ARMYs (their fans) around the world.”

The last time a K-pop act was nominated by Billboard was back in 2015 when BIGBANG won the Top Social Media Artist award. It’s an honor that they’re still proud of today.

BTS Records: First K-Pop Album to Reach No. 1 on Billboard 200

On Monday, October 29th, BTS released their new album “Love Yourself: Her” onto the U.S. market and it is already taking over the charts! The album became the first K-pop album to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with 135,000 equivalent albums sold in its first week of release.

This is an amazing feat considering that this genre does not get much attention in America for anything other than viral hits like “Gangnam Style”. It also marks a huge step forward for Korean culture as one of its artists has finally broken into American mainstream markets after years of trying to break through the glass ceiling.

BTS is back with a new milestone. The K-pop group’s latest album, Love Yourself: Tear, has officially hit No. 1 on the Billboard Artist 100 chart, making them the first K-pop act to achieve this feat. Let’s take a closer look at what went into achieving this milestone and how BTS became one of the most popular groups in music today.

BTS Records: Fastest 1 Million On Twitter

BTS has reached an incredible milestone with its most recent accomplishment. They are the fastest Korean act to reach one million likes on Twitter in just six hours and twenty-four minutes. This is in comparison to Psy, who took seven hours and forty-nine minutes in 2012 for

“Gangnam Style” when he became the first Korean artist to hit this number of followers. Not only that, but BTS was able to do it with three tweets! On September 24th at 6:44 p.m., they tweeted a video announcing their upcoming album release date which already had over 100k retweets by 8:00 p.m., then another tweet which got them 1M followers within two minutes.
