The Weeknd has confirmed a tour for 2022 in honour of his most latest albums, Dawn FM and After Hours, which will be released in 2020. During the first phase of the tour, he will play at stadiums throughout the United States and Canada. Doja Cat will be a special guest on the trip. More shows in Mexico, South America, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East will be confirmed shortly, as per a news press.

The Weeknd has also announced the introduction of the XO Humanitarian Fund, Powered by World Food Programme, in collaboration with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP). The fund aims to put an end to the world’s hunger issue. According to a press statement, The Weeknd has contributed $500,000 to the foundation and pledges to donate an extra $1 from each tour ticket purchased. The Weeknd stated in a statement, “The objective with this foundation is to offer urgent life-saving relief to those who are on the verge of hunger.” “I’m grateful to have WFP as a partner and to be able to reach out to even more people in need.”

The Weeknd’s tour was interrupted for the 3rd time last year due to the epidemic. The Weeknd explained his reasoning for doing so, promising that the upcoming tour will be “something larger and unique for you that demands stadiums.”

The Weeknd released Dawn FM only days before its release last month, after marking the end of his After Hours phase with “Take My Breath” last summer. For a “Alternate World” version of the album, Swedish House Mafia remixed “Sacrifice,” which also contained the collaboration track “Moth to a Flame” and Agents of Time’s remix of “Take My Breath.”

In recent months, The Weeknd has been a busy associate, performing on new songs by FKA twigs, Post Malone, and Rosala, as well as a posthumous album by Aaliyah. In February, he debuted his new comprehensive television special, The Weeknd x The Dawn FM Experience, on Prime Video. Buy Tickets From Here
