British indie-folk band The Staves have just announced their tour for Good Woman, the album they released at the beginning of this year. It kicks off on February 9th in Dallas and ends on March 15th in Los Angeles. You can check out all dates and get your preferable tickets below.
Mxdwn alt-country album reviewer Blake Michelle states that the Good Woman album still contains great vocal chemistry between Emily, Jessia, and Camilla. Three sisters, Emily, Jessica, and Camilla Staveley-Taylor formed the band in 2012. Ever since then they have released several albums including their latest record If I Was which was produced by indie’s Bon Iver. Their last album The Way Is Read was also a hit among fans and critics alike coming out with an average of 4 stars on most reviewed websites.
On February 5th, 2021 The Staves released their fourth studio album ‘Good Woman’ via Atlantic Records and Nonesuch Records. Their new album reached a career-best #13 in the UK following up last year’s release of ‘The Way is Read.’ Since 2012, the indie group has toured alongside acts like Florence and the Machine, Bon Iver, and First Aid Kit. The trio consists of sisters Jessica Staveley-Taylor (vocals), Camilla Staveley Taylor (cello) & Emily Rose “Lils” Katherine Dyer(drums).
