Hall of Famers Michael McDonald will join the Doobie Brothers on their 50th-anniversary tour in 2022. Birmingham, Chicago, Mountain View, Inglewood, Phoenix, Dallas, and Nashville are just a few of the highlights of the new 11-city tour in September and October. This tour began in 2021 and is the first time McDonald has performed with longtime bandmates Tom Johnston, Patrick Simmon, and John McFee in over 25 years.
The Doobie Brothers joined Santana on his Supernatural Now Tour in 2019 and played several dates with him. The year before, they went on a massive co-headlining tour with Steely Dan, and the year after that, they opened for the Eagles and the Zac Brown Band in various cities.
