The electronic components stand out in several later tracks, such as Mr. Roboto. Styx disbanded into numerous solo acts but reunited in 1990 for another tour. Its current roster includes most of the band’s original members, except their former lead vocalist.

In 1983, shortly after the publication of their tenth studio album, ‘Kilroy Was Here,’ the band disbanded. The band reemerged in 1990 with ‘Edge Of The Century,’ disbanded and reformed for the last time, and have remained influential ever since. They have released five more albums, the most recent being 2021’s “Crash Of The Crown.”
