The Donald Fagan-led band will kick off its Absolutely Normal Tour with a four-night run at The Fillmore in Miami Beach. Previously scheduled Steely Dan performances from 2020 have been postponed until 2022, as the group hopes to dominate the live performance space throughout 2021 and beyond.
This year is going to be absolutely normal for Steely Dan fans – they’ll finally get back out on tour! It’s no surprise that their new album sold over 2 million copies worldwide after announcing this news earlier today; it seems people are very excited about catching them live again before too long.
Tickets for the 2021 Absolutely Normal Tour are being released today, Friday, July 30th. If you act fast enough and purchase Platinum tickets to their show by Thursday night at 9:00 pm EST then a pre-sale option will be available depending on your location.
Fans of Steely Dan‘s music are in for a treat with the upcoming release from The Absolutely Normal tour. This free event will take place at various venues across North America and features an appearance by Donald Fagan, one of the founding members of this influential jazz-rock band. Alongside his solo set, he’ll be performing some songs that originally appeared on records such as 1975’s “The Nightfly” and 1980’s “Gaucho.” Of course fans can’t miss out on their chance to get both albums together! For those who purchase tickets you’ll have first pick between either CD or digital download package before they go up for sale to general public.
