In the wake of canceling 2020, Rock en Seine festival has announced that 2021 will go on as planned. “We cannot take place this year in the shape and with the intensity we all want,” said Jean-Marie Barbaroux, Director General of Saint Cloud Park – but they’re looking to 2022 for a new event if health allows it.
For three days, Ile de France will be rocked by music. Rock en Seine has announced they are back and better than ever with their upcoming edition that is set to take over the Domaine National du Parc de Saint-Cloud in Paris on Friday, August 27th, Saturday 28th, and Sunday 29th from 9:30 AM to 2 PM each day for a total of 63 hours! This year’s festival will have more stages including an acoustic stage so you’ll never miss your favorite artist again as well as workshops where attendees can learn new skills or make friends all while having fun at this annual event.
Rock en Seine is set to return this summer, but the health crisis has caused heartbreak for fans. “Even with the greatest optimism, given the current restrictions in place today we know that what Rock en Seine festivalgoers want cannot take shape,” they wrote on May 25th. We will miss you dearly at our event as it does not seem possible right now…But rest assured and stay tuned. The show WILL go on next year”
Rock en Seine is the end of the summer festival we all wait for, where incredible international and French headline acts mix with new artists everyone’s talking about. The spaces between magnificent tree-lined paths in Domaine National de Saint-Cloud provide freedom and fresh discoveries: a unique exhibition or association worth supporting, a stand filled row upon row with rare types of vinyl, or just your shady space to relax.

The Première Seine showcase for high-school students is a chance to get your brand on the map with not just one performance, but two! The winning groups will perform in autumn at either L’Olympia or La Cigale. Meanwhile, we’ll be supporting new French bands through our Club Avant Seine 2021 initiative which kicked off last summer with Bandit Bandit and Structures. This year’s group includes Lucie Antunes, Michelle Blades, Quinzequinze as well as some other artists who have yet to announce their participation – meaning you can keep an eye out all this summer and see if they’ve got what it takes.
Three days of music is the order of the day at Rock en Seine, as this festival embraces some of the best acts on offer across genres such as rock, indie, hip-hop, and pop. The multi-genre celebration has been bringing huge acts to this scenic location for years with Iggy Pop and more all previously giving performances in Paris’s outskirts.

How do I get to Domaine National de Saint-Cloud?
The Saint-Cloud Festival is known as one of the finest outdoor arts festivals in France. It takes place from July 13th to September 4th and can be accessed by public transport easily via Metro Line 1 to Pont de Saint-cloud or Tram line T2 to Parc de St Cloud.
