Omar Apollo has just announced the dates for his upcoming fall 2022 Prototype Tour. This news comes on the heels of the release of his highly-anticipated debut album IVORY earlier this year and his massively successful Desvelado Tour.
Beginning in October, the tour will make 22 stops across the country, including some prestigious arenas like the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, the King’s Theatre in Brooklyn, and the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, among others. Omar has collaborated with PLUS1 to ensure that $1 from each ticket sale will be donated to MusiCares to support the organization’s mission of offering a support system consisting of essential health and welfare services to the music community.
In honor of the tour, he has also released a brand new single titled “Highlight.” This comes from his recent Push Performance of the Year nomination at the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards. In addition, he was included on the playlist that Barack Obama used for the Summer of 2022.
