On 5th September 2005 Canadian pop band Nickelback released their 5th studio album “All the right reasons” on Roadrunner Records. Very recently Nickelback announced “All the right reasons” 15th anniversary tour heading to North America with 45 dates. This news was confirmed on their official websites. Nickelback was twitted a news on 21th January. They twitted:-

“15 years ago we released All The Right Reasons. It’s about time we celebrate. All The Right Reasons Tour. Playing the album from cover to cover and more. Featuring our friends @STPBand, @TheTylerBryant and @Switchfoot. Tickets on sale 1/23. http://livemu.sc/Nickelback2020 #ATRR15”

The tour will kick of on 19th June in Raleigh, N.C. at Coastal Credit Union Music Park. And it will be wrapped on 31th July in Holmdel, N.J. at PNC Bank Arts Center. During their North America tour dates they will come back Canada for covering a single date. On 8th July they will perform in Toronto, Ont. at Budweiser Stage.

Nickelback, however, has not only managed to earn the title of “the world’s most hated band,” but they’ve done it while being extremely successful.

The band has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide, has sold out Madison Square Garden and has been nominated for six Grammy awards, including “Album of the Year” and “Best Rock Album.” They even rank as the second best-selling foreign act in the U.S. of the 2000s (behind The Beatles), and the eleventh best-selling music act of the decade overall.

As far to say Nickelback hate has become a unique sort of meme, and not just because the phenomenon often finds itself the subject of Grumpy Cat.

As early as 2000, underground heavy metal fans were calling Nickelback “the band that ruined Roadrunner Records,” and to this day, their deal is viewed by many as the start of a trend of Roadrunner signing mediocre bands.

Tickets will be available on 23th January which was posted on their website.
