John Mellencamp, a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, has revealed that he will embark on a monumental tour of North America in 2023 to promote his most recent record, “Strictly a One-Eyed Jack.” His Live and In Person tour will begin on February 5 in Bloomington and continue through June, stopping in many cities across the United States. These cities include Atlanta, Orlando, Dallas, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago, Philadelphia, New York, and Detroit. The cities of Vancouver and Toronto will play host to several Canadian shows.

On January 21, 2022, Mellencamp’s 24th studio album, “Strictly a One-Eyed Jack,” was made available via Republic Records.

About Mellencamp

After beginning his career in music by playing in bands as a teenager, he eventually decided to pursue a solo career full-time after graduating from college and hasn’t looked back since.

Mellencamp has been responsible for the sale of more than 40 million records all over the world. It wasn’t until 1982 that he topped the charts in the United States with his album ‘American Fool,’ which became five times platinum. This was the first of many multi-platinum discs he would receive throughout his career. His first album, ‘Chestnut Street Incident,’ was released in 1976.

The previous album, “Other People’s Stuff,” released in 2018, topped the Billboard Rock chart at position number one. The year before, he kicked off his Sad Clowns & Hillbillies Tour, which took place across North America and featured Emmylou Harris and Carlene Carter as special guests.
