Future bass superstar Illenials will have a big summer ahead of them, as the release date for his fourth studio album has been announced. Taking to social media today, he revealed that Friday, July 16th, 2021 is when our ears are blessed with new tunes from him!.
The album is the brainchild of producer and songwriter ILLENIUM, who has amassed over 7 billion streams on Spotify. The first track off Fallen Embers was “Nightlight,” an emotional collaboration with Annika Wells that captures a bittersweet moment in time for those whose relationships have ended but refuse to let go. With punk-style vocals from Tom DeLonge of Angels & Airwaves on paper thin’s”Paper Thin”, this EP features some energetic collaborations as well like Dabin and Lights’ heartwarming anthem “First Time.”
Illenium has been hard at work on his new album while releasing a few singles to tease us. He recently released one of his most anticipated tracks, “Fractures” featuring Excision and Haliene alongside an unreleased track with Slander and Krewella that he dropped live at Texas’ Ubbi Dubbi Festival.
Illenium has been teasing a few collaborations with Dillon Francis and William Black in recent weeks but no word yet on whether they will appear on Fallen Embers.
