It’s been a long time coming, but the moment is finally here. The happy-together tour has finally arrived in America! This year will be a celebration of all things Asian pop culture as it brings together some of the most popular K-pop bands from around the world to perform on one stage for the very first time. In October, the happy together tour will commemorate 50 years of The Turtles. This monumental event has been happening since 1967 and is set to be one of the most iconic tours in history. In order to better understand this historic tour, a brief history lesson is needed.
In 1965, four members from two different groups (Turtles and Grasshoppers) decided they wanted to do their own thing and so they joined forces with Gary Usher who was a producer for Phil Spector’s label Philles Records.
