EDC Las Vegas is a music festival that produces an iconic experience for all. The event has played host to over 100 countries and 50 states since its inception in 2007, building upon the inclusive spirit of “All Are Welcome Here.” Their latest endeavor was this year’s EDC Mexico City with close to 400 thousand attendees from across Latin America!

As the festival celebrates a decade of dance in the beautiful city of Las Vegas, its supportive community is strengthening an event that has been crowned as one-of-a-kind. Speaking up with their enthusiasm for this year’s festivities are headliners Armin Van Buuren and Steve Aoki who have each played at every single EDC to date.
It’s no surprise then that we’re seeing more exciting additions to this already stellar lineup like pop sensation Zedd, bass music pioneer Bassnectar (who will be making his return after 4 years), and highly anticipated DJ/producer duo Galantis from The Netherlands! The Las Vegas Motor Speedway is a hot spot for DJs, and this year will be no different. All types of music lovers can enjoy the sounds from deadmau5 to Kaskade as they perform in various areas throughout the festival grounds.
The lineup consists of Alison Wonderland, Knife Party, Martin Garrix DJ Snake The Chainsmokers REZZ Seven Lions Kaskade Many more.
Insomniac has announced that they will be debuting a new stage at their flagship music festival this year, the kinetic en themed stage at kineticFIELD which includes performances from Kygo as well as collaborative DJ sets from SLANDER and Said The Sky.
ZHU and Zedd are set to throw down at cosmicMEADOW, while Testpilot (deadmau5’s techno alter alias), Patrick Topping, and Eric Prydz will rock circuit grounds. neonGARDEN is hosting immersive live art installations that will go along with a curated house music lineup that features Belgian superstar Charlotte de Witte as well as legendary South African DJ Black Coffee.
One of the most anticipated reunions at this year’s festival will take place in bassPOD as Rob Swire, Gareth McGrillen and Paul Harding of Pendulum Trinity perform their first North American show for a new concept. VOYD aka SVDDEN DEATH is set to make an appearance that promises one of the biggest sets on stage with its heavy sound.
Following a tumultuous period, Insomniac and its founder Pasquale Rotella celebrate the lineup announcement with an exultant response.
The culmination of their hard work is revealed to be worth it as they announce this year’s stellar lineup full of immersive experiences that will excite EDM fans everywhere.
Rotella noted that the festival would be moving to October due in part to its inability to align with Nevada’s reopening plan and vaccine pipeline. After submitting a “robust safety plan” which complied with state COVID-19 guidelines, Clark County went on to introduce new measures that compromised the proposal’s feasibility.
After the postponement of EDC, Rotella decided to host an AMA on Reddit for angry fans. When asked about his comment telling people to book flights (which has since been deleted), he explained that it was a practical suggestion and not meant as discouragement from attending.
With only 3.6% of the population testing positive for COVID-19, EDC Las Vegas is a safe space to enjoy rave culture in all its glory without worrying about whatever bug might be flying around this year. Clark County has been cleared of any COVID-19 cases since May 27th and there are more than 4 million people living here.
Insomniac has announced the lineups of a number of its music festivals in recent weeks, such as Beyond Wonderland and Lost In Dreams. It also pulled the plug on an EDC event celebrating 25 years for this illustrious festival brand that was to take place in Portugal.

- “No Re-entry/ins & outs per day (check out Camp EDC Entry for camping in and out policies)
- NO Refunds or exchanges.
- NO Sitting on designated dancefloor areas, moshing, crowd surfing, or stage diving. Unauthorized vendors will be asked to leave the festival site without a refund of their admission fee.”
Acceptable items in EDC las vegas
- Yes, cell phones and portable chargers/external batteries.
- Yes, cigarettes (must be sealed upon entry) and lighters.
- Yes to deodorant! E-cigs or vapes are also welcome so long as they’re empty when you enter the festival grounds.
- one bottle of liquid is permitted for these products only).
- Earplugs? Of course – it’s not a concert without earplugs.
- Fanny packs. Definitely bring your fanny pack if that’s what makes you happy.
- The YES Festival is a magical event where you can explore your creativity and express yourself to the fullest! Bring some props, like totems or pool noodles decorated in any way.
- flags with handmade signs as long as they don’t have corporate logos on them.
- Glowsticks are also encouraged for their psychedelic effects when combined with neon lights during this electric festival night.
- Don’t forget that everything must be clean upon entering because there are no trash cans around (plus it’d just clog up the place).
- YES, Hula hoops! LED and normal ones are both allowed.
- YES, Hydration packs can have more than one compartment, but they need to be empty when you enter the festival grounds.
- Yes, inflatables too-just don’t forget to deflate them first (or we’ll do it for you!).
- Juuls are okay as long as only one pod is sealed upon entry.
- Bring your best selfie game to the rave, because you’ll need it.
- YES LED whips, pois & orbitals will be present and there is no room for anything else in this arena.
- Yes, Lip balm, lip gloss, or lipstick are permitted as long as they’re sealed upon entry so we don’t have any sticky situations on our hands.
- If you want to capture some of that action with a camera make sure it’s under 6 inches tall
- YES, Personal misting fan, no larger than 1.5L (must be empty upon arrival)
- YES, Physician-prescribed medication not expired and showing physician’s prescription at the entrance to the event.
- NO Liquid makeup is allowed. Powder makeup is okay.
- You will need rain ponchos or umbrellas that measure less than 10″ when collapsed in order to enter our festival grounds safely as well.
- You can also pack a small bag with your essentials, though please be mindful of the maximum 12 “x12”.
- Sunscreen lotion is inspected at entry and tampons & pads must remain sealed in order for them to pass through security checkpoints without inspection.
Prohibited items in EDC las vegas
Please be kind and respectful to the environment so we can all enjoy it.
- DO NOT bring any aerosol products/cans, balls or frisbees, bota bags (water carriers)
- costumes that resemble public safety uniforms in ANY way shape OR form such as police officers, SWAT members, etc.
- drones either remote-controlled aircraft or toys of any sort nor drugs and drug paraphernalia into this event space.
- You can’t bring any eye drops, gas masks, or glass materials to the festival. But you’ll be able to purchase all these items at our general store located on-site!
- You are also not allowed to wear large purses, bags, or backpacks over 12 inches wide and tall.
- NO Laser pointers and air horns
- NO LED gloves or LED microlights used for light shows
- No Liquid makeup (we mean it!)
- No Markers, pens, or spray paint.
- no over-the-counter medication (available inside the festival), pacifiers, pets, and professional photo or video equipment that isn’t detachable from your device.
- You can bring stickers or flyers but no stuffed animals are allowed.
- No tents, large umbrellas, chairs, or blankets are allowed in order to avoid potentially ruining our newly installed lawn furniture with dirt and leaves.
- no toy guns – regardless of whether they shoot water or not- will be permitted due to safety concerns (what if someone pointed it at another person?).
- Lat but not least, please remove all unsealed tampons before entering as we cannot have them leaking into our fresh produce section.
What time does the event start & end each day?
- Friday, October 22nd – 5:30pm – 9pm
- Saturday, October 23rd – 10am -10pm
- Sunday,October 24th-10am-5pm
- Opening Ceremony: Friday,October 22nd-5:00pm–7:00pm, full grounds open 7:00pm–5:30am
Can I enter anytime?
Entry is allowed anytime during the event. The event will officially last 10 hours, but all times are approximate and it may start later than scheduled. There are no in-outs after approaching the checkpoint, please plan accordingly.
