Country Thunder is a country music festival that started in 1993. It hosts the biggest and brightest stars from all over the continent, with their longest-running festivals being Arizona’s Country Thunder USA Festivals and Wisconsin’s Country Thunder Music Festival.
Country thunder has been putting on these events since 1993 starting out only in Arizona but now it also visits its home state of Wisconsin every year where they have two annual fests: one during summer called “the WI Spring Break Party” which includes a very different line up than at any other festival; then there’s our Fall gathering for those who want to experience an outdoor camping event like no other.

Can you sleep in your car at Country Thunder?
Yes. An “extra” campsite vehicle pass costs $130. However, festival prices have been steadily climbing over the last few years, so plan ahead (plus it saves you from having to park a mile away from camp). I checked this morning and there are still plenty of weekends passes available for camping at Country Thunder on Friday night – but they don’t sell out until one month before the event starts (march 28th 2021) or if 1000 more people buy a regular single-day ticket.”

Is Country Thunder all ages?
Country Thunder is of all ages and registration for the event only requires one adult to volunteer to be an adult guardian responsible for monitoring minors.
The adults need not be related to any of the children whom they are registering, but all of the registered minors must reside in their household. In addition, an adult can register themselves as a minor if they have not yet reached 18 years of age when entering account information during online registration. Lastly, minors who are 13-17 years old do not require parental permission if they enter a designated tent within the music festival grounds that does not serve alcohol or controlled substances while remaining accompanied at all times by an authorized Adult Guardian.
How much are Country Thunder tickets?
Country Thunder is a major country music festival that was first held in 1994. Over the years, it has grown to accommodate tens of thousands of attendees and be one of the world’s most famous 3-day music festivals. The grounds are located in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin just over 30 miles west of Milwaukee and about 45 miles northwest of Chicago. Can you bring alcohol into Country Thunder?
No outside alcohol is allowed on the grounds of Country Thunder, and don’t even try to be sneaky. Our security will find your juice box filled with vodka. They’ll make you destroy it, and then you’ll have to fill out some paperwork while warrants are obtained for a formal search of your vehicle. You might even get arrested in the process, so what’s really worth risking that? If you like a drink now and again that’s cool, but Country Thunder isn’t the place to be quenching that thirst (so maybe save yourself from all the hassle by skipping this year).

The festival sells out in a minute so ticket prices are two to three times higher than tickets for other festivals. That means some people spend $400 or more just to get there, and then they have to eat, sleep find their way around the event without getting lost.
