On a late 2022 tour featuring Dark Funeral, Immolation, and Black Anvil, Cannibal Corpse is scheduled to unleash their savagery on the United States and Canada as the headlining act.

They will promote their album “Violence Unimagined,” released a year ago. This album was their first to feature Erik Rutan, guitarist for Hate Eternal and longtime producer for Cannibal Corpse. This album dealt with death in new ways, heaving recent standouts such as “Inhuman Harvest” and “Murderous Rampage,” among others.

In the meantime, both Immolation and Dark Funeral already released new albums so far in 2018; these albums are titled We Are the Apocalypse and Acts of God, respectively. Opener Black Anvil, who have already wrapped up a string of tour dates this year with Immolation, are still doing very well on the strength of the Miles EP (released in 2019) and their most recent full-length album, As Was (released in 2017).

The journey will start on November 3 in Maryland and end on December 10 in Florida, a little more than one month later. The next installment of the Decibel Metal & Beer Festival will take place in Denver on December 2nd and 3rd, and there will be a stop there along the way.
