How many of the rock bands can claim they have stayed and performed together for at least three decades? There may be very few names that would come up to the list. “Blue Rodeo”, the Canadian legendary rock band has done it successfully throughout the years. Since 1984 they are there to entertain us by their sweet songs and stories behind them. Once a band started by two school friends now has become a popular band in Canada.
They have announced their 2020 tour plan which will be all across Canada. Their next concert is on December 27 and 29 of 2019. After that, their 2020 tour will start again on 7 February. The detailed tour plan is available on their official website.
Jim Cuddy and Greg Keelor, two high school friends have failed several instances in constructing their band collectively. Finally succeeded in 1984 when they teamed up with Bob Wiseman. “Outskirts” was the first studio album by the band and it couldn’t make them popular until they recorded “Try”, a single. Which became very popular in Canada and soon rose to the Top charts of the country, but what made them hit was the song “After the rain”. The 1992 song put them into a strong position among Canada’s music bands.
Besides 15 albums launched via the band, some band members like blueJim Cuddy and Greg Keelor have their solo albums out in the market. Their last album was “1000 Arms”. Jim says he was inspired by a podcast to write and sing this song.Blue Rodeo Ontario Tour Dates & Concert Schedule FEBRUARY 7 – MERIDIAN CENTRE – ST. CATHARINES
