Staind frontman Aaron Lewis will embark on yet another acoustic tour of the United States in early 2023 in support of his next album, “Frayed At Both Ends.” The tour will begin on January 20 in Las Vegas and continue through May, with essential stops in Peoria, Cincinnati, Tampa, Bethlehem, Atlantic City, and Mashantucket. It will consist of a total of 30 performances. Before embarking on the tour, the musician will conclude the Frayed At Both Ends Tour, which he began earlier in 2022 and will continue until 2023.

On January 28, 2022, Lewis released his fourth studio album, “Frayed At Both Ends,” distributed by Big Machine Records. After 2019’s ‘State I’m In,’ which featured cameos from Vince Gill, Ben Haggard, Jamey Johnson, and Alison Krauss, the next album will surely be a hit. The new album is expected to be released later this year. In addition, 2019 was the year that the singer-songwriter began his The State I’m In Tour: Acoustic Songs & Stories, with Ira Dean serving as his opening act. The previous year, he traveled with Brantley Gilbert and Josh Phillips on select Ones That Like Me Tour dates.

A Plain Old Country Boy

Lewis was born in Vermont on April 13, 1972, and subsequently moved to Massachusetts with his father after the family moved there. At a holiday party in 1993, he was the one who introduced him to Mike Mushok. Later on, Mushok would bring in Jon Wysocki, and Lewis would bring in Johnny April to complete the lineup for the band known as Staind in 1995. Lewis began to develop an interest in country music outside his work with Staind. Since then, he has focused a significant portion of his time on creating country songs and producing country CDs for his audience. Lewis spent a considerable amount of his childhood hunting and has a strong connection to the more rural aspects of the United States. His foray into country music was an effort on his part to get in touch with that aspect of his personality.

Additionally, he has worked in tandem with many other well-known musicians. One of them is Linkin Park for the remix it did of the song “Crawling.” He has also worked with the band Cold to produce their songs “Bleed” and “Send in the Clowns.” Aaron Lewis is a musician who, in addition to bridging the gap between heavy metal and country music, is also active in charitable giving. He takes a very active role in raising funds and getting schools to invest in their music programs. In addition to that, he assists his wife in the management of a charitable organization called It Takes a Community, which works to renovate schools.
